Trades Sales Representative

I am looking for a passionate and dedicated salesperson to join an iconic building supply brand! Locally owned and organised, they are committed to bending over backwards for their clients, to deliver the best building solutions they possibly can.

The right individual will have excellent time-management skills, allowing them to prioritise and organise their days to help manage existing and new business. They will need to put a strong focus on the customer, aiming to foster long lasting customer relationships by going above and beyond what is asked of them. They will also be responsible for communication clearly with the trades team back at the depot to ensure timely deliveries of products

This would be the perfect opportunity for a tradie to take that next step off the tools and use their experience and knowledge to leverage their existing network. These opportunities don’t come around too often, so grab this one while you can!


Your responsibilities:

  • Identify, build and maintain current and new relationships
  • Proactively promote and represent the brand
  • On-time delivery of product as communicated with the depot team
  • Implementation of current promotions and new products
  • Offer solutions to customer issues
  • Provide a strong base and understanding of the build process and product
  • Regular site visits with sound H&S practice



  • Previous sales rep or account management experience
  • High level of negotiation and communication skills
  • Previous trades or build experience a must
  • CRM knowledge and experience
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent time management skills
